On January 21, 2025, The Masterpiece Academy proudly celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at our new home in Venture X Ashburn at One Loudoun. The event was a momentous occasion, bringing together local leaders, community members, and families to mark the beginning of an exciting journey in empowering students and families to achieve academic excellence.
Empowering Learners & Leaders
At The Masterpiece Academy, our mission is to bring out the potential in every learner and leader, inspired by Ephesians 2:10: “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” We believe that every student is a masterpiece—uniquely created with talent, value, and purpose—and we strive to help them achieve academic success through personalized programs and expert support.

Inspiring Words from our Founder
The ceremony was highlighted by a heartfelt speech from our founder, Krishna Cart, who shared her journey as an educator and entrepreneur. She recounted her beginnings as a tutor in the Philippines and the evolution of her dream, which led to the establishment of Young Scholars Circle in 2009—a dream that has since grown into The Masterpiece Academy.
“The name The Masterpiece Academy is inspired by Ephesians 2:10. We believe and respect the uniqueness of each learner, as a masterpiece, lovingly crafted with creativity, value, and potential. Our role is to guide them in creating their masterpieces and achieving their goals,” Krishna shared.
She also expressed gratitude to the Loudoun community for their support and trust, emphasizing that the academy’s journey would not have been possible without their encouragement.
Community & Recognition
The grand opening was made even more special with a presentation by Broad Run District Supervisor Sylvia Glass, who honored Krishna Cart with a commemorative plaque recognizing The Masterpiece Academy’s contributions to the community.
Chamber ambassadors, including Steve Blackwell, Roman Blazauskas, Kim Curran, Carol Kearney, Leslie Recinos, Kelly Robucci, and Ryan Thomas, joined the celebration to underscore the significance of the occasion for Loudoun County’s educational and business sectors.
With its headquarters at One Loudoun, The Masterpiece Academy serves families throughout Northern Virginia with in-person services, while also offering live online tutoring, and test prep to learners nationwide, and curriculum and instructional design for organizations and businesses.
