STEM Facilitators
We are looking for a passionate and energetic STEM Facilitator to engage students in hands-on learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) in Loudoun and Fairfax locations. This role involves delivering pre-designed lesson plans, guiding students through interactive activities, and fostering curiosity and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-designed STEM lessons and activities to students. See our STEM classes.
- Facilitate engaging hands-on experiments, coding exercises, robotics, and engineering challenges.
- Create a safe, engaging, collaborative, and interactive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support different learning styles.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and organizations to enhance STEM outreach.
- Maintain STEM-related materials and equipment.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in STEM education.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM-related fields (Science, Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, or Education with a STEM focus).
- Prior teaching, facilitation, or youth program experience preferred (formal or informal education settings).
- Experience with hands-on STEM tools such as robotics kits, coding platforms (e.g., Scratch, Python), 3D printing, or engineering kits is a plus.
