Parent Cohort | Bible Bee Summer Study
June 1 @ 7:30 pm - 8:15 pm
Join Our Parent Cohort Pilot
We’re inviting a small group of parents to take part in a 7-week pilot designed to help you guide your child in understanding and applying Scripture more deeply.
This isn’t about adding more work to your week. It’s about giving you simple, practical tools you can use right away at home. All participants must be registered with the National Bible Bee 2026 Summer Study.
Why This Matters
Many children can memorize verses. Fewer truly understand what they mean or how to apply them.
This cohort helps you move your child from memorizing to thinking, from retelling to understanding.
Just as important, the strategies you’ll learn aren’t limited to Scripture. These are research-based reading and comprehension strategies that also support learning in subjects like English language arts, science, and social studies.
A Research-Based Pilot
This cohort will be led by Krishna Cart, a National Board Certified Reading Specialist, Bible Bee Host, and EdD candidate in Curriculum and Instruction, as part of her dissertation study approved by the George Washington University Institutional Review Board (IRB #NCR257026). All participants’ information will remain confidential and will be deidentified.
The strategies you’ll learn support not only Scripture study, but also reading comprehension and thinking strategies applicable to subjects like ELA, science, and social studies.
The strategies that you’ll learn here are grounded in proven instructional practices that support how children learn to think, understand, and apply what they read.
